Common questions
What does "PA Certified" mean?
Every unit clears our multi-point inspection covering exterior, interior, engine and drivetrain, electrical and safety systems, a road test, and the underbody before it is offered for sale.
How do I read a Japanese auction grade?
Auction houses assign an overall grade (from S and 6 down to 3, with R for repaired vehicles) and a separate interior grade from A to D. Higher is better; we publish the grade we sourced against.
Is the mileage genuine?
Recon imports arrive with their original auction sheet, which records the odometer reading at inspection. We verify the displayed mileage against that documentation.
Is there a warranty?
Certified units are covered by a warranty on eligible components. Terms vary by model and age — ask our team for the specifics on a given car.
